Although many people are unaware of this fact, the prehistoric art that still exists in Dénia and in the Levante region of Alicante was declared a World Heritage Site. A good example of this is the Catxupa cave, a corner between the Montgo, the Gorgos and the coastal mountains.
Precisely the art of the Catxupa will be the reason for the conference that will be held this afternoon in the "La Sala" space of the Dénia Castle, From the 19: 30 hours.
The conference entitled L'Art de la Catxupa, Dénia. Nostre art of prehistory, Patrimoni of Humanitat. Documentació proces i estat of qüestió and will be taught by the municipal archaeologist, Josep Gisbert. For more information about the conference, you can download here an informative pdf.
