Juan Agustín Navarrete Mengual and Javier Almela Carrión, agents of the Local Police of Dénia, will participate, between the 11 and the 19 of June, in the VI European Games of Police and Fire which are held in Huelva and in which the attendance of a total of 4.945 participants is expected, coming from almost all European countries and from other invited countries such as China, Brazil, the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The agent Juan Agustín Navarrete will compete in the modalities of shooting with compressed air gun and precision shooting. Javier Almela will do it in the discipline of cycling en route.
This competition, so that security professionals and emergencies are rewarded and show, both to their colleagues and the public, their daily preparation to be able to perform their function with capacity, will host 69 sports modalities at Huelva's headquarters and in the subsedos of Punta Umbría, Hinojos and San Juan del Puerto.
The games also allow participants to fraternize and exchange customs and working methods that enrich their work.
