Where will be, and until when, the next speed controls in Dénia

19 2023 April - 11: 10

The Dénia City Council has published a list with the roads where preventive speed controls will be carried out in the city. These will take place from this week and will continue until April 23.

The areas where they will be made are:

  • Joan Fuster Avenue
  • Highway Les Rotes
  • Highway Marines
  • I walked from Gandia
  • Camí Cementeri
  • Old road of Dénia-Ondara

The controls aim to prevent traffic accidents and ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians. During this period, checks will be carried out by local authorities to ensure that drivers respect the speed limits set in these zones.

Drivers are reminded of the importance of respecting traffic signs and speed limits to prevent accidents and avoid penalties. The authorities hope that these controls will help improve road safety in the city.

Les voitures pont des fesses, elles polluent, elles sont trop grosses, donc moins y aura de voitures qui pont du cul, mieux ce sera.

  2. Luis says:

I think it's very good because people drive more and more aggressively..

  3. Dani says:

You can stick the controls in there.
    Cars pollute too much.
The good thing is the public transport.
The train, the bus, the plane or the ship.
The bitch they do here in Denia asking for a car to work in Denia THOSE WHO LIVE IN DÉNIA.
    And but in the towns.
In Teulada or Benisa for example.
    There is the train.
    THEY ALSO REQUEST A VEHICLE.
And then they talk about drought and climate change.
    Come on!

It seems good to me that controls are carried out but I think the same as Carmen Garcia. Cars in a double row, cars occupying a motorcycle space, illegal exhaust pipes, cars that due to their state it is incomprehensible that they have ITV, without mirrors, drivers talking on the Mobile. Anyway. I have thought out loud

  5. Carmen Garcia says:

It is very good that there are controls, but other measures are also necessary, such as faded zebra crossings that need to be repainted, many cars parked double-parked, with the problems that this entails, those and counting the motorcycles and the noise they make. Is that never going to be fixed? The traffic in Denia is sad.

      They are painting

    • Javier says:

Why are there cars in double row? Because there is no place in Dénia to park, they have been eliminating free spaces and the only option is paid parking on the road, port, etc. If you've already taken Marqués de Campo from me for years, it's been little less than an odyssey to go down to Denia to run an errand that requires a 2-minute stop in the center.
