Winners

Enric Aguilar Almodóvar He was born in Dénia in 1985 and has a degree in Audiovisual Communication. After working in the communications sector, in 2014 he published his first card game, La Fallera Calavera, with the help of a crowdfunding campaign. This game quickly became popular: it has sold more than 20,000 games and more and more tournaments are held in cities such as Valencia, Castellón, Alzira, Alicante or Ontinyent; has been inspiration for costumes carnival and parties and has been the beginning of a creative process that is still underway. Aguilar, shortly after the success, published the novel of the same name based on the game, and since 2017 he has dedicated himself exclusively to the creation and production of board games for his own publishing house: Zombi Paella.

This award seeks to recognize not only the great ethnological value in the form of leisure that rescues forgotten characters, makes known Valencian popular traditions, catchphrases and clever sayings of our oral heritage; but also the entrepreneurial will of a young man who, through aspects of our tradition, has paved the way in the world of cultural production and leisure.

It has also held educational auditions, collaborated in cultural weeks, school meetings in Valencian and has represented Dénia in 8 Europeans. from 1996 to 2003.
