When 4 has passed since the beginning of 2014, the city of Denia has already clear the budget for this year. With a decrease of 1,83% compared to 2013, the budget of the city for this year amounts to 46.319.306 euros.

Thus, expenditure on aid for the purchase of textbooks in 15.000 euros, guaranteed income of citizenship in 45.000 euros and the second plan of municipal employment will have more resources than this year.
Expenditure on current goods and services falls by 2% for the savings generated after the crane service and the Municipal Escoleta concessions. With this saving, the consistory will increase the chapter of current transfers up to the 3.168.963 euros, a 2,7% more.
Almost 1,6 million euros of the budget to the payment of expropriations of reserves of use under the signed agreements and the execution of firm sentences, which supposes the expenditure that will realize the consistory in investments this year.
With regard to financial debt, Dénia will have to reduce municipal debt by almost three million in order to comply with the state's forecasts, which establishes that by the end of 2014 the loan debt of the consistory must be 29.582.746 euros. In addition, the level of indebtedness of the planned corporation decreases by 3,3%.
Now that the budget has been drafted, the government team will present it to the other groups of the municipal corporation in Informative Commission, and next Monday 5 of May will be broken down the items of each area before the Consell de Participació.
