November 26 from 2019 - 14: 06

Dénia Tourism participated last weekend in the most important gastronomic event of the Canary Islands, the Enogastronomic Festival of Lanzarote. An appointment to which every year about 30.000 people of different nationalities attend.

The Saborea Dénia brand, composed of Turismo Dénia and AEHTMA, had its own stand in the main tent of Saborea Spain, where it shared space with Saborea A Coruña and Saborea Lanzarote.

A large number of visitors approached the stand attracted by the mouth-ear on the rice band Dénia made by Octavio Moreno and Martina Vázquez, from the Octavio's restaurant in Dénia. Visitors were also interested in the hotel and gastronomic offer, the hiking trails in the area and the rest of the tourist offer of our destination.

The profile of the visitor to the fair was mainly that of young families and couples between 55 and 65 years. Approximately 70% of visitors were of national origin, mainly residents of Lanzarote, followed by tourists from other autonomous communities, among which the Basque Country stands out, and the remaining 30% were tourists of international origin, mainly from Belgium, Switzerland and Germany

Dénia's participation in the event has been considered a success since almost 2.000 rations of rice have been sold to the band and visitors to the booth have shown great interest in getting to know the city during the coming spring months.
