The mayor of Hacienda Vicente CHelet announced that the Governing Board of last week approved the request of two million to the bank to expedite the loan to suppliers. According to the councilman, this is a usual operation that is usually done until the consistory receives the income of Suma, which is usually between May and June.
Last year the city council requested one million, and this year the operation will be done with several banking entities, among them the one that last year facilitated the loan. The total loan amount must be canceled before December's 31.
The Governing Board this week also approved a report that justifies the need to not comply with the order of priorities in the payments established by the Budget Stability Law and according to which the public debt is first settled. The City Council has requested to satisfy first the companies that provide services "to continue providing the service".
The payment to suppliers occupies the fourth place in the list of priorities of said Law, and in that sense, by the City there is late payment.
