The Ministry of Health has once again reported an outbreak of coronavirus in the Marina Alta. Once again, the town of Dénia registers a new outbreak, of social origin, which affects five people. This outbreak has been the only one notified by Public Health yesterday afternoon in the region.
Likewise, this rebound is the fourth that has occurred in Dénia in the last 7 days.
Regarding general data, which affect the Community, in the day yesterday Wednesday 61 outbreaks were confirmed in total, 11 of them in the province of Alicante, 1 being that of Dénia.
Regarding the number of infections, the Valencian Community registered 2.081 new cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test or through antigen tests, which places the total number of positives at 121.958 people since last March.
In discharges, since the last update, 1.583 discharges to patients with coronavirus have been registered. In this way, there are already 118.049 people in the Valencian Community who have overcome the disease since the pandemic began.
In this way, there are currently 12.872 active cases, which represents 9,63% of the total positives. Valencian hospitals currently have 1.161 people admitted. On the other hand, 33 deaths from coronavirus have been registered since the last update.
