The commission extraordinary plenary session of the Provincial Council of Alicante has confirmed the mayor of Denia, Ana Kringe, that the redevelopment project and rainwater network in Miguel Hernández avenue is within the Provincial Plan for Cooperation of Municipal Competition Works and Services for 2012.
This means that Dénia receive about 510.000 euros (65% of the total budget for the project, amounting to 785.000 euros) to continue the work already started with the Plan E of 2009 conducting urbanization and rainwater network in the Plaza de Benidorm.
Funding will be effective in two installments: this year the Council will provide 51.006 27.464 euros and the City. The rest will be received in 2013.
