The Dénia City Council unanimously approved yesterday in plenary a credit modification amounting to 3.195.000 euros. The Consistory so decided in order to deal with different expenses and the modification will come from the remainder of the Treasury.
The councilor of Economic Services, Paco Roselló, mentioned that 3 million euros will be used to repay the debt with the banking entities. With this early amortization, the City Council will have settled a total of 2022 million euros of bank debt in 9.
"The goal is to finish the legislature next year with an outstanding bank debt of about 13 million euros compared to the 29 million euros that existed in 2018," Roselló said.
The other outstanding item to which the city council will allocate part of this credit modification, 120.000 euros, is the paving and maintenance of public roads. In economic matters, yesterday an extrajudicial credit recognition of 6.116,81 euros was approved, also with the unanimity of all the political groups, for the payment of invoices for the year 2021.
