Dénia closed with a surplus of 2013 2,2 million

The city of Dénia has closed the 2013 exercise with the liquidation of the general budget, which has left a positive balance of 2.178.770 euros and a reduction of the municipal debt in 7,4 million euros.

In this way the outstanding debt has been reduced to 32.396.136 €, which is 64,74% of the municipal budget. Some figures that, for the councilor of finance, Vicente Chelet, "demonstrate that, despite the fall in revenues, the council does more with less and is complying with the Budget Stability Law by reducing the financial debt up to 64,74% of the current income settled, which is more 10 points of the limit set by the Treasury ".

It will be in the next ordinary plenary session, the one corresponding to the month of April, when the government team reports the liquidation file of the 2013 budgets, as well as the report of the Municipal Intervention.

    With the surplus of this year, the City Council is left to solve the problem of dirt from the race and others. Of course, if things are not fixed, next year there will be again. This is not for smart people, only for the short ones
