If the same act has been maintained for four consecutive years, we can already consider it a tradition. That happens with the campaign 1 1 book x kilo that a year will celebrate the Associated Center of the UNED in Dénia Friday April 22 the occasion of the celebration of World Book Day.
The entrance House of Culture will host, from 10 to 22 hours, this solidarity campaign to collect food in exchange for books. The operation is very simple: for every kilo of food a person contribution, you will receive a book. At the end of the day, the food collected will be delivered to the Bureau of Dénia, composed of Red Cross, Caritas Interparroquial, Stretch out your hand and the Salvation Army.
In the days before the celebration of the campaign, and in order to have a fund sufficient books for barter, UNED Dénia has appealed to citizens to collaborate delivering a book used in the Center Secretariat (open Monday through Friday from 9 to 14. 30h and 15: 30 to 21h.).
Another way to collaborate is to sign up as a volunteer to participate in this day. Registration can be done through the center's own secretariat on the UNED Dénia website.
