After the intervention of the representatives of the Association of companies Contractors and companies related to the construction of Dénia (ACEAD) in full last of September, the mayor of Citizens in the City Hall, Mari Martínez y Sergio Benito, They have met with the provincial deputy Fernando Sepulcre.
At the meeting, held this week, said Sepulcre will require "that the Provincial Council consider, in all the tenders it carries out, always, at least one bid from a local company". The deputy, who will extend the request to the whole province, said “Giving local companies the opportunity to present their proposals makes sense given their knowledge and resources on the ground, as well as promoting employment local".
After the meeting, the vice president of the association, Demetrio Garrigós, was pleased by the initiative and wished the prompt start which would mean “a vital lifeline” for local businesses.
