The Student Union The Contracorrent full Marina Alta has called a demonstration to protect against the new citizen security law ("Gag Law") the next Saturday December 27 from the 12: 30 hours in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
As reported in a statement, this concentration is called, among other things, because it has been approved in parliament with votes against all opposition; why "seriously damages the rights of protest, assembly and demonstration of citizens" and because "there are sections in this new law that are very harmful in relation to the freedom of expression of citizenship".
Also, the union says that with this concentration they want to unite the concentrations that are being carried out throughout the country "Because people want to democratically express their disagreement with the approval of the new citizen security law".
I am of the generation that was manifested for rights. Now we must demonstrate to achieve repeal a law that attacks this basic right in any democracy. It's like a nightmare. .we got everything backwards.
