The Benissa City Council and the CA UNED Dénia renewed on February 9 the signing of the Agreements for Educational Cooperation.
Present at the signature were Ms. Raquel Martí Signes, Director of the CA UNED Dénia, and Mr. Arturo Poquet Ribes, Mayor of the Excmo. Benissa City Council.
Thanks to the agreements the student body will be able to carry out:
• External academic internships (curricular) so that UNED students of official Bachelor's degrees or leading to obtaining a University Master's degree, can complete the training with the completion of professional internships and the development of the Final Project. Degree and Master's Thesis.
• Extracurricular or voluntary internships to complement their training. The internships will have a duration of 750 hours for undergraduate studies, in the case of a Doctorate, a maximum of 1500 hours per academic year. At the end of the internship the entity and the UNED will give the student a certificate.
Mr. Arturo Poquet Ribes, Mayor of the Hon. Benissa City Council stated that “… this renewal agreement reinforces our policy of cooperation with the educational entities of our region, as well as benefits the inhabitants of Benissa in the framework of facilitating the completion of internships for their curriculum and for your professional benefit… ”.
Ms. Raquel Martí highlighted after the signing “… we renew the collaboration agreement with our consortia for the mutual benefit of students and the consortium entities in training and professional experience. It is a reciprocal opportunity to acquire work experience in local administration and a return on the investment made through the commitment of the consortium entities, in this case with the Benissa City Council ”.
The internship will be coordinated by Carmen Mas Llull, Coordinator and Tutor Teacher of the COIE of the Associated Center of the UNED of Dénia together with the teachers of the different degrees and the contact person in the Benissa City Council.
During the meeting, they also spoke about future collaborations on the 2030 Agenda.
The CA UNED Dénia continues to offer its activities to students and interest groups. This month he will hold the workshop "MAKERS AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES" that will take place on February 23, 24 and 25 in direct or deferred online mode and the course "THE IMPACT OF COVID ON MENTAL HEALTH: ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION TRANSFERS" on the 10th and March 11.
