Compromís per Dénia will once again celebrate its October 9th in Plaza Jaume I

05 October 2023 - 10: 46

Compromís per Dénia celebrates, one more year, in addition to the institutional events of the City Council, the traditional political event of October 9 in Plaza Jaume I. The event will begin at 12:45 p.m., after the institutional event. As always, there will be protest and political speeches "in defense of political Valencianism, culture and Valencian identity," said Agustí Espí, local secretary of the group. Like every year, they will make a floral offering to the statue of Jaume I to the sound of the Muixeranga, they indicate from the formation.

The event will be attended by the deputy of Compromís in the Alicante Provincial Council, Ximo Perles, and the regional secretary of Compromís and councilor in the Dénia City Council, maria jose garcia. Both will defend Valencianism and feminism, reviewing municipal, regional and national politics.

Agustí Espí, local secretary, has invited all citizens to participate in this event that commemorates "our founding as a people, as Valencians, and that vindicates the awareness of belonging to a territory with a particular historical, cultural and political tradition." .

  1. Carles says:

The news of also celebrating the AMNESTY of the poor Catalan independence supporters who lead the way so well says nothing.

  2. Jopelin says:

Are we sure they haven't invited Oriol Junqueras or Juan Gabriel Rufián (aka the man from Madrid who was leaving at 18 months old)?

  3. Ana Cordoba says:

Well, I am glad to attend and share this feeling of being part of the Valencia population with a clear and powerful identity, of good and brave people, and always as respectful as those of Alicante.
    Health and love

    • Celia says:

These committed people are not proud of being Valencian. They want to be second-class Catalans. They piss on the Valencian thing.

  4. Eva says:

A note before starting: the word 'diada' is nothing other than the term in Catalan to refer to a special or designated day on which a religious or social festival is celebrated.

  5. Nino says:

    Valencian Country Day ????

This perfectly defines your quality of Valencianismo and Valenciania.

I hope you enjoy your pan-Catalan event, which I am glad I did not attend.

  6. Joselito says:

    Thanks for the invitation.
    I'm glad I can't attend.
