One more year, Compromís wants to pay tribute to Vicent Andrés Estellés with the organization of the traditional Festa Estellés dedicated to the Burjassot poet and Valencian culture. This year, it will take place on Friday, September 29 at 20:30 p.m. on Germans Ferchen Street, where the collective is based, with the artistic creation and recital competition The living paraula and a cabas dinner.
The collective wanted to innovate with the format by organizing the evening around this creative contest "with which we want to highlight the poetry of Vicent Andrés Estellés through the artistic freedom of the participants, whether reciting his poems in a creative way or with any type of scenic manifestation that promotes Valencian culture," explained the local secretary of the group, Agustí Espí.
Thus, in the contest rules The living paraula, it is specified that all those who wish to participate by interpreting verses must do so only with those of Estellés' literary production. But those who choose to carry out another type of artistic manifestation (dance, theater, singing, dance or performing arts...) The prize will consist of a trip for 2 people to Formentera sponsored by the Foundation Baleària.
