The Citizens of Dénia group has once again recalled one of the initiatives that it already presented last year to the government team. It's about creating the "Blue Week"To be held in exchange for the "White week"Which would promote nautical activities among children and adolescents throughout the country.
According to Councilwoman Mari Martínez, "It would be a new approach to the promotion of water sports, aimed at school children where they can learn the practice of different modalities: sailing, paddle surfing, windsurfing or canoeing, as well as the different related knowledge: nautical, meteorology and medium ambient".
From Citizens insist on the importance of this initiative "It would bring schoolchildren from all over Spain, including foreigners, who in a series of consecutive weeks in the off season would serve to seasonally adjust the local tourism, involving the nautical, hospitality and tourism sector, and setting up an interesting subsequent claim for all families".
