Last night the gala of the Michelin Guide 2021 took place in its edition of Spain and Portugal. In this, the restaurants that had obtained this year the precious distinction of the Michelin Star were unveiled. In the case of Dénia, repeats the Quique Dacosta Restaurant with its 3 Stars, the highest distinction of the guide. However, among its pages not only appear those that have this mark, but the guide recommends other restaurants with a wide variety of recognitions.
In Dénia, this time to Quique Dacosta Four other restaurants without a Star are added, but with enough level to appear within the precious guide. This is the same figure as in the last edition, demonstrating the quality of the Dianense offer.
Again, repeats a well-known restaurant that has wanted to get away from the focus of the guide but cannot avoid being recognized continuously: The Baret Miquel. Miquel Ruiz's establishment has obtained the Bib Gourmand recognition, dedicated to those restaurants with the best value for money in their offerings. Of him, the inspector says: "Small, humble and unique in every way, as it reflects the most particular project of chef Miquel Ruiz, a man who seeks happiness from honesty and struggles to popularize haute cuisine. He surprises with a tremendously casual decoration (table games and wild chairs, old stoneware floors, a curious collection of siphons ...) and a very personal culinary proposal, with great skill in the executions, which is based on Mediterranean and market flavors, always creating the dishes according to the ingredients you find when you do your daily shopping ".
He too Aticcook repeated for the second year in the guide with the distinctive of The MICHELIN plate dedicated to quality cuisine. Bruno Ruiz's restaurant does not stop receiving awards Since his career began, his chef managed to make himself known by winning La Gamba Roja de Dénia and, after hard work, getting to appear in the precious guide. Of him, the inspector has said: "It is located in an attic and ... it surprises with its interior design! Creative, personal and very well-defined flavors, which see the light through a single seasonal menu".
The same recognition is obtained, again, by the Peix & Brases. It is another of the establishments that repeat their presence in the guide. Of the establishment located in Plaza de Benidorm, the inspector has said: "It has two atmospheres, the gastrobar on the ground floor and the gastronomic one on the first floor ... with an attractive terrace on the roof. Mediterranean-contemporary cuisine of proximity".
Finally, also with the same distinctive, we find the restaurant El raset. Another of the venues that has faced one of the hardest years to overcome and achieve Michelin recognition. The inspector has said of him: "You will find a terrace and two rooms, both with a classic-elegant decoration marked by white tones. Updated traditional cuisine, various rice dishes and a complete menu".
