The future Center of Gastronomy of the Mediterranean which will give the Degree of Gastronomy from the University of Alicante will begin to work the next course 2018 / 2019 in the facilities of CDT Dénia.
This Wednesday a meeting has been held in the City of Dénia to finalize the implementation of this university center in which postgraduate courses related to gastronomy will be taught, such as the rice master's course planned for autumn, research and university extension.
The regional secretary of the Agència Valenciana del Turisme, Francesc Colomer, the rector of the University of Alicante, Manuel Palomar, and the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, have specified some of the details, such as the fact that the Valencian Tourism Agency will contribute the CdT facilities to the project Marina Alta of Dénia, where the practices of the center will be carried out.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Dénia, Rafa Carrió, and the councilor of Ciudad Creativa, Pepa Font.
It is a very important initiative for Denia. A fundamental impulse to consolidate and give more quality to gastronomy.
