The Asturians Celia Barquín and Iván Cantero have been proclaimed champions Lacoste Promises 2012 held in La Sella Golf Resort. The competition was held on a sunny day and under blue skies with the course in excellent condition. Lacoste will dress the champions for a year, and Iberia will take them to their favorite place with a companion.
Celia Barquin imposed with 73 blows, one less than Covadonga Sanjuán, with suspense and emotion until the last putt. When 15 minutes were missing for their starting time and the champion was preparing to train on the putting green, she realized that she was missing the putter in her bag, a problem that was immediately solved by the staff of La Sella lending her one of the room of clubs.
Cantero has won the title after signing card 70 strokes, two-under field The Sella and one less than Manuel Elvira, Lacoste Promises 2011 champion.
