CEDMA re-elects Benito Mestre as president, who promises two new federations and to continue fighting for the train

20 June 2023 - 15: 00

The General Assembly of the Business Circle of the Marina Alta, meeting today at the Dénia Business Incubator, has re-elected Benito Mestre as president of the Federation for four more years. All the votes have been in favour, registering neither blank votes nor abstentions nor any other candidacy, so the support for Mestre has been unanimous.

After the election, the new president has commented that the objective of these next four years will be to "continue gaining power and representation", and to launch two new regional federations: the one that unites all the commerce of the Marina Alta and the one that unites the entire industry of the region.

Among the priorities for the coming years, Mestre has also cited the creation of an Ethics Commission to draft a Manual of Good Business Practices, continue working together with public administrations for the Dual FP, and further open the federation to society.

Thus, among others, new training actions and Corporate Responsibility projects will be launched, without neglecting in any case the historical claims of CEDMA, such as the train, the agility of the administration, etc.

At the end of the Assembly, Manolo Noguera, who has been a member of CEDMA since the first meeting, asked to say goodbye and to thank all the people and businessmen he has met along the way over the years, which has translated in a great ovation on the part of all those present.

If the money they manage is private, they can set up all the associations, foundations they want. But if they receive subsidies, go to the shoddy Entrepreneurs Club.
