The City of Dénia has introduced some changes in the meetings with the councilors of the neighborhood that have been carried out in recent months. And all in order to facilitate the participation of citizens. That is why, in some cases, the meetings will be bimonthly instead of monthly.
New calendar of neighborhood meetings in Dénia
- Paris-Camp Roig: Bimonthly. Every first Monday of the month since February
- Montgó-Pedrera: Bimonthly. Suspended until further notice
- Port-Center: Bimonthly. Every first Tuesday of the month since February
- Marines: Bimonthly. Every second Monday of the month since February
- Les Rotes: Bimonthly. Every first Tuesday of the month since March
- Baix la Mar-Darrere del Castell: Monthly.
- Roques: Monthly.
- saladar: Monthly.
- The Faroleta-Diana: Monthly. In February 9 will be on Thursday. Since March, the first Wednesday of the month.
- Oest-Campaments: Monthly.
special meeting with neighboring West
As an exception to the previous calendar West-Campaments meeting with neighbors will be held on February 14. It will involve the Councilor for Urbanism, MªJosep Ripoll, and a municipal technician to explain to attendees the proposed redevelopment of the square and the street Valgamedios Pare Pere drafted by the Planning Department.
The City Council approved in July Dénia 2016 request the Provincial Council of Alicante the inclusion of this project, whose total budget amounts to 750.000 euros in the Provincial Plan of Cooperation Works and Municipal Services 2017 competition. Through this line of support, the provincial government will fund the 55% of the total cost of the work and the remaining Ajuntament de Dénia 45%.
