The children of Tangier Is the name of this project, belonging to the program Baleària Solidarity, Which for the second consecutive year sends a shipment with food, essential articles and sanitary material to the congregation of the Adoration Nuns of Tangier.
This congregation caters to the most disadvantaged children whose families, without economic resources, face serious social problems.
Up to the North African city, 3 volunteers from the foundation have moved from the Dénia and Algeciras delegations, together with Ricard Pérez, manager of the Fundació Baleària, to deliver 16 boxes full of basic needs. There they were received by the Spanish consul, José de Carvajal, and his wife, who were very grateful and surprised that so much material was collected only by workers from Baleària.
Baléaria Solidària aims to continue the work of helping the solidarity work that the congregation is doing, and plans to repeat the campaign later this year.
