This week, repair work on the fencing of the Dénia train station has begun, improvements that have been celebrated by the Citizens municipal group, since they had been demanding months from the City Council to press for it to be solved.
Councilwoman Mari Martínez, who was the one who denounced at first the state of the fence, said he felt "pleased to see that the government team has met the stipulated deadlines" and pointed out that "This intervention improves security conditions and the image of our city".
Citizens submitted to the full City Council a motion demanding that the state of the fence was repaired, mostly broken and rusty, dirt accumulating on the verges of roads. After the start of the proceedings, since citizens expect "the same collaboration in reviewing the points of light in different areas of our city as the Montgo or the Marinas ".
