The surveillance service starts on the eight beaches of Dénia run by the Red Cross

Last Saturday, June 1, it started at eight beaches de Dénia, the surveillance service in charge of the Dénia Red Cross. From now on, and until October 15, the Dianenses beaches will have personnel and a first-aid station designed to ensure the safety of the bather.

Until the June 30 the Media season will be developed in 11 schedule: 00 to 19: 00 hours. The high season will take place from the 1 of July to the 31 of August at 10 time: 30 to 19: 00 hours. After the high season it will begin with the lengthening of high season in 11 schedule: 00 to 19: 00 hours. From the 16 in September to the 15 in October the surveillance services will be launched only on weekends.

All the beaches will have a support post with responsible and lifeguards with surveillance chairs. In addition, from Red Cross Dénia will be available health service with ambulance and technicians in health emergencies to cover the need to transfer to an emergency on the beach.

On the beaches of Raset and Bovetes there will be jet skis to give greater coverage to the surveillance of the service. And as of July 1, 2 more vessels will be incorporated in order to provide greater maritime coverage to the surveillance service. A kayak will also be available on the beach of the Routes.

Accessible bathroom

From the 15 of June, the adapted bathroom service will be activated, which will be located in Bovetes, Raset and Marineta with the pretense that people with reduced mobility can enjoy the bathroom.

Red Cross Dénia will also carry out activities throughout the summer for families, children, young people and the elderly mainly on the Raset beach.
