The player Andrea RedondoBelonging racing school Dénia Tennis Club, has qualified to play the Spanish Alevín Championship to be held in the City of the Racket in Madrid.
This was possible because the Dianense managed to reach the semifinals of the Championship of Valencia Alevín. Andrea reached the quarterfinals where he faced the unseeded 4, Mariola González, whom he defeated by 6-2 and 6-1. In the semifinals he lost to Andrea Burguete, seeded number two in the tournament.
We also highlight the player Neus Ramos, that in the quarterfinals could not with the champion of the Valencian Community Alevín, Lucia Llinares and disputed the repechage to accede to the Championship of Spain, losing the final before Sandra Requena, being thus in sixth place and to a step of the classification for the Championship of Spain, since the best five of each Community are classified.
