After a successful season finished as champion of the Open 600 sub 17 (Cup of Spain Speed), the Dianense Alexandre Sirerol had the opportunity to participate, last weekend in the final round of the category Superstock FIM CEV 600 in Repsol.
The young biker accepted the invitation of his team to participate in the national championship grid and did not miss the opportunity.
On Saturday practice was the fastest rider riding a Stock 600, ahead of the already crowned leader, Bertin Thibaut. In Sunday's race he set in sixteenth place with a great start in which he managed to climb several positions, but at the first corner a pilot crashed into him 29º him back to the plaza.
But Sirerol wanted to have fun and this setback did not stop him enjoying every turn. Despite not played anything in this championship, he was going up positions past the finish line as second Stock 600, in 14ª place in the overall standings.
In addition to scoring points in the overall Moto2, Álex Sirerol He completed the year in Superstock 600 in ninth place, despite only having participated in two tests (Albacete and Valencia).
