Two managers of a restaurant in Dénia were accused of stealing € 265.000 from the business by not registering their clients' payments. An event that led them to the trial that, initially, was to be held between this Monday and Thursday, but that has finally been sentenced on its first day.
The two defendants of these events that occurred between 2015 and 2017, who appropriated the aforementioned amount of money after keeping the payment of the drinks without rendering accounts, appeared yesterday with their lawyer at the Alicante Court in order to arrive to an agreement with the Prosecutor's Office.
However, one of the defendants, as published InformationHe had a fit of nerves when he had to admit his guilt that resulted in a hole in one of the partitions of the place when he pierced it with his fist. However, after the intervention of the Civil Guard, the man calmed down and accepted the agreement that condemns them to pay 30.000 euros to each one within 3 years, having already returned 50.000. The court also notified the defendant that he had punched one of the walls, which would send him the invoice for the repair.
