Dénia has already opened the registration period in the VII International Creative Cuisine Competition of the Red Prawn of Dénia that the next 27 will be held in February at the Municipal Market facilities. Until 30 January of 2018, interested can register, free of charge, by completing the online tab that appears on the web denia.net/concursogambaroja2018.
A jury of professionals and food critics will choose the eight finalists taking into account the description, recipe, scan and picture of the dish that will participate in the contest and that Dénia red shrimp is used as the main ingredient. The name of the eight finalists of the contest will be made public on the website www.denia.net on 7 day of February of 2018.
The bases contemplate a first prize endowed with 2.500 euros, a second of 1.500 euros and a third prize endowed with 1.000 euros. Also, the winners will receive the trophy of the red shrimp created by the sculptor Toni Marí for the contest.
