The deputy urged those responsible for the Ministry of Social Welfare to specify a start date for the works that, although they recognized the need to provide the Marina Alta of this type of infrastructure, «exhibieron todo un catálogo de excusas».
Jordi Serra explained that been more than 15 months since the proposal was passed to the Consell «y en estos momentos la Generalitat Valenciana sigue siendo incapaz de decir cuándo van a poder iniciarse las obras de esta solución temporal planteada ante la imposibilidad económica de acometer el proyecto definitivo del Área Sociosanitaria».
Still, Serra is even «más preocupante» which «la Conselleria no concrete si la adecuación correrá a cargo del presupuesto autonómico, o lo tendrán que realizar los Ayuntamientos de la comarca». And for Serra, «debe ser únicamente la Generalitat Valenciana quien se haga cargo del coste de estas obras».
