The current Bloc councilor in the municipality of Dénia, Josep Crespo, It has announced he will not stand for their party primaries to head the list of the upcoming municipal elections.
According to Crespo in a statement, «es incompatible seguir ejerciendo de concejal en el ayuntamiento y trabajar para ganarme el derecho a encabezar las listas de mi partido, mi prioridad es hacer el trabajo que me encargaron mis votantes».
Crespo also explains that «ahora mismo no tengo la ilusión necesaria para pasar un examen y menos aún para competir con un amigo, como es Rafa Carrió«.
