From October 18 to November 3, the Municipal House of Culture Denia hosts the exhibition Patrimoni Oblidat, Literary Memories, a project of the Coordinator of Centers d'estudis de parla Catalana and l 'Institut Ramon Muntaner.
The exhibition relates elements of tangible material heritage that are abandoned, in ruinous state or disappeared with literary texts that have been referenced over the years, binding territory and literature.
The objective of the exhibition, and of all the activities that are generated around it, is to place literature as a matter of knowledge, research and dissemination in the day-to-day study centers, in this case speaking of the 'forgotten heritage' , while highlighting the importance of this literature in the configuration of culture, country or countries, also stimulating the creation of new literary works.
Patrimoni Oblidat, Memòria Literària It is divided into five thematic areas: 'In struggle and dialogue with the landscape', 'The weight of history', 'The silent clamor of the stones',' The memory of social life 'and' The ruins as a symbol of the land'.
In total, 60 includes elements of 'forgotten' heritage of the Barcelona, Xativa, Andorra, Ciutadella, Zaidín, Girona, Alghero, Alghero, Tarragona, Aiguamúrcia, Vilaplana, Riudecanyes, Benissanet ..., and their corresponding texts, of 56 authors, whether classic, current or more local, such as Eugeni d'Ors, Artur Bladé, Pere Gimferrer, Maria-Mercè Marçal.
