A representation of the Young Socialists of the Marina Alta delivered this Wednesday school supplies worth 400 euros to the Local Assembly of the Dénia Red Cross. Specifically, 42 highlighters, 235 pens, 70 erasers, 30 children's cut-outs, 64 pencil sharpeners, 83 notebooks, 31 English books of various levels, 10 reading books in Valencia, 92 pencils, 12 boxes of markers, 25 boxes of colored pencils, 15 boxes of fine crayons, 54 cases and 22 backpacks.
From the grouping, they label this result as a "absolute success" which has exceeded initial expectations thanks to "All the brushstrokes of solidarity, which, from inside and outside the region, have reached a project, based on the illusion and intention that all children of La Marina Alta have an equal education".
The young Sandra Gertrúdix, Enrique Chover, Ángel Serrano, Pau Marín and Rixi Sendra were in charge of delivering the material at the headquarters of Cruz Roja in Dénia, which will carry out the work of distribution of the proceeds.
