AMICS, the Mediation Agency for Social Integration and Coexistence and the Department of Social Welfare have launched the first edition of the Immigrant Reception School to help new citizens of Dénia expand their knowledge about the values and rules of democratic coexistence, rights and duties, the political structure and the official languages of the Valencian Community.
The recipients, immigrants older than 18 years resident in Dénia, will receive classes of Spanish and Valencian language; Basic Legislation; Geography and History of Spain and the Valencian Community and Practical Information.
The course, with a duration of 40 teaching hours, will start the 24 in October and after its completion will be issued a certificate issued by the Ministry of Solidarity and Citizenship.
Those interested in signing up can do so at the Association Headquarters, on Campo Torres Street, 13, from 17 to 21 in October, from 19 to 20 hours.
