A total of 130 school-age athletes will take part in the "I Trophy Baleària-Terra de Retrobament de cross school ". A test that will be held at the facilities of the municipal sports center of Dénia, next Sunday.
Four clubs will take part in this trophy, two from the island of Mallorca; C. Diana Athletic and ADA Calvía. The other two are the CA Baleària Dianium de Dénia and CA Llebeig de Xàbia.
They will take part schoolchildren in category that go from the cadets to the benjamines. Being a team competition, the three first classified teams of each team will score.
The competition will start at 11 hours with the race of men's cadet category race, which has the longest route, since the athletes have to cover 2.400 meters. The other races have a layout according to each of the categories.
The trophies will be delivered at 13 pm once all the races have finished and the final classifications have been established. All athletes will receive a commemorative shirt with the motto "Salvem la Posidonia".
The presentation of this event was held this morning in the city of Denia and was attended by the Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos Signes, who was accompanied by one of the patrons of the Fundació BaleàriaMiguel Angel Civera and Ricard Pérez CA Baleària Dianium.
