Work returns to the Glorieta days after reopening

26 September 2023 - 11: 46

Two weeks ago Glorieta of the Valencian Country was once again open to pedestrians. It was the first time that the residents of Dénia could cross the place since October 2022. However, what they found after so much work, which lasted 11 months even though it had to be carried out in 9, left much to be desired.

The workers have returned to the center of Dénia to solve everything that was pending once the Glorieta opened. Since this Monday they have resumed their work to conclude the promised project.

At this moment you can see that the space that had been exposed between the Glorieta wall and the new exterior pavement has been sealed, although the cracks still need to be painted and polished. The first pylons have also been placed to prevent traffic from entering from Pare Pere Street, so they have been able to remove a large part of the fences.

Throughout these days, it is expected that the Glorieta, the central and original construction, will recover its old image after cleaning and finishing touches.

Are the pylons at the Paré Pére exit to the roundabout fixed??? How do firefighters, ambulances, police... In case of emergency access both the homes and the events held in that square, has no one thought of that small detail???
