An average of 1.000 people annually donate blood in Dénia

Dénia is situated at the head of the Marina Alta region regarding blood donation is concerned, with an average over the past two years 1.000 annual donations.

This was confirmed yesterday announced Luís Hernández, deputy chief medical officer of the Transfusion Center of Alicante, in the presentation of the new point blood donation every two months will be installed at the Public Health Center Plaza Jaume I.

The councilor of health of the municipality of Dénia, Marcela Server, took advantage of the presentation of this new point to announce that there is already a date for the V Solidarity Marathon of blood donation organized by the Ajuntament de Dénia and the Transfusion Center of Alicante: it will be the 13 of April of 2013.
