Before presenting his candidacy, the delegation will meet tomorrow with the Permanent Delegate Ambassador of Spain to UNESCO, Juan Manuel de Barandica and Luxán, and his deputy, José Antonio De Ory, to present the details of the candidacy.
They will then meet with the director of programs in the area of Culture of Unesco responsible for the Network of Creative Cities, Mauro Rosi, who will present the project of the nomination of Denia. Denia's candidacy is supported by the mayors of the five Creative Cities of Gastronomy in the world - Piabán (Colombia), Chengdu (China), Östersund (Sweden), Jeonju (Korea) and Zahlé (Lebanon) And Seville, the only Spanish city that belongs to the UNESCO Network as Creative City of Music.
They also support the Dianense candidacy Unesco Spain, the majority of representatives of the national hospitality employers and the provinces of Valencia and Alicante, representative associations of the institutional and tourism sector and local associations.
