The violence returns to Dénia on the weekend, as has been happening for months. It is undeniable that the city has a serious problem with brawls, which continue to be frequent in leisure areas, especially in front of the Condado nightclub, despite the fact that the City Council claims to have intensified the police presence in the area.
However, on this occasion, according to the Dénia Local Police report provided to the media by the consistory, only one fight was attended, away from any entertainment venue and at a peculiar time. During Sunday, agents of the Local and National Police had to appear at 15:50 in the Ocuista Buigues square. Specifically, in the premises of a pizzeria belonging to a famous chain. The reason? An alleged violent conflict that had taken place in that restaurant.
Apparently, a 70-year-old man had attacked several local workers and had fled before the patrol arrived. Now, the National Police has taken charge of the intervention to try to find the aggressor.
