Suspended line 'Trenet' between Denia and Calpe to the lack of security

Line 9 from Benidorm to Dénia is more than 100 years old and is a non-electrified route designed for maximum speeds of 80 km/hour. Precisely last week, the President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, inaugurated the improvements made to the section between Altea and Calpe, and now the modernization work will focus on the northern part of the route.

In addition to the above work, later this year the works of improving facilities and preparing communications required for installation of Block Auto and ATP stations in Teulada, will resume Gata de Gorgos and Dénia, which has a budget of six million euros.
