Dénia City Council has received a grant of 455.563'92 euros by the Directorate General of Education and Vocational Training of the Department of Education, Training and Employment which will go to the rehabilitation of the old building of the Lonja de Dénia.
A total of 24 students plumbing, electricity and masonry work for a year, between the 15 December 2011 and 14 December 2012 in the rehabilitation of the building, which will recover one of the emblems of the city whose destination is the tourist and cultural use.

For years it has been going behind the museum of the sea, I hope that it is done and that it is done well, not a "charlotte", as it usually happens in many things that are made in our town, pedestrian streets, rusty furniture, typical trees of a cemetery in the middle of streets, etc. etc.
I am delighted to read this news. Perhaps they have reconsidered that needs Dénia Museum of the Sea and Fisheries and this is a good place to locate it? Hopefully !!
