Next weekend, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 of May, Dénia hosts its 5º edition of the Festival Mascotetes, an event that brings together pets, owners and animal lovers during two days full of activities of all kinds.
Mini Olympic Games
Throughout Saturday, there will be available at La Marina de Denia a circuit of Mini Olympic Games for dogs and owners as well as many other activities that will happen throughout the day, from the 9.00 to the 21.00 hours.
Initiation workshop at Disc Dog, pintacaras, inflatable castles, story-telling with dogs, greyhound and podencos and live music by the hand of the musical group Sweet Soulz along with many other surprises.
In addition, on Sunday 8 of June, tent with sale of discs and Photocall of the DiscDog association to take a picture with some dog of the association or own, contest of guinea pigs, sample of guinea pigs and purebred rabbits, talk about dog education, Turtle race and much more.
Canine Contest
Este año, el Festival celebrará la 5º edición de su ya tradicional Concurso Canino para perros con y sin raza. En esta edición se repartirán premios para el perro más obediente, al macho más «guay», al abuelito más «molón», a la hembra más «guapeta» y al mejor perro de protectora. La inscripción al concurso es de 5 euros, habrá un premio de 500 euros para «el ganador de ganadores» y la recaudación de todo irá destinada a comprar alimentos para las diferentes protectoras de animales de la zona.
