Before the commemoration of the first centenary of the death of Dianense historian Roc Chabàs next April 20, the Gavilà Ferrer Foundation has scheduled a series of conferences to learn more about the multiple facets of one of the most important figures in the history of the city.
The talks will begin on Tuesday 17 with a conference on the facet of archivist Chabàs in charge of the director of the Diocesan Archive of Valencia, Ramón Fita Revert.
Javier Calvo It will be responsible for the second conference day 18 on chabas historian and the multitude of books on the history of Dénia published.
The conference will end on Friday 20 with Josep Gisbert talking about the archaeological aspect of Roc Chabas. That same day, at 20 hours, a memorial Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption which invited the Auxiliary Bishop of Valencia, Enrique Benavent.
These actions complement the organized by the city council, with an offering of flowers in the home of the scholar and a talk in the Plenary Hall.
