A kilometer-long chase that took place at the beginning of this week, in which a thief tried to escape with the loot stolen in Dénia: 50 liters of oil. In her attempts to stop her, she has injured two Civil Guard agents, who were following her on a motorcycle until they were hit by the escapee.

It all started around 16:00 p.m. on Monday when the now detained woman obtained 50 liters of oil in a supermarket in Dénia. The woman and her companion moved north with the loot and calm, a priori, for not having set off the security forces' alarms. However, in La Safor they skipped a Civil Guard checkpoint, pressing the accelerator and beginning to flee at more than 180 kilometers per hour for several kilometres.

Everything came to an end near Beniparrell, when they were finally able to arrest the two occupants of the vehicle and discovered that, in addition, the driver lacked a license. In the final stretch, however, two of her pursuers were hit by the fleeing vehicle, having to take one of these agents who followed her on a motorcycle to the hospital.

As published by Las Provincias, the detainee faces charges of resisting authority, driving without a license and reckless driving.
