Ribera Salud finally announces the plan for the new health center in Dénia

13 2023 April - 12: 02

The Functional Plan of the new health center in Dénia has already been drawn up, presented and has been approved by the Ministry of Sanitat i Salut Pública. The center will bring together all the Primary Care Emergencies of the population, 7 places for Family and Community Medicine -MFYC- for adults and 2 for Pediatrics.

The rest of the places, 3 Paediatrics and 16 MFYC, will be distributed among the current integrated health centers in Joan Fuster and La Pedrera; as well as the specialties of Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Gynecology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Dentistry and Physiotherapy; in addition to the Family Planning, Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Brain Injury units.

According to the Managing Director of the Dénia Health Department, Dr. Javier Palau, "in this way, the number of places in Family and Community Medicine is increased by two, in addition to reorganizing the activity, through the centralization of Emergencies in the new space. This will improve the functionality of all the assistance points in Dénia and the capacity to accommodate the extraordinary activity that occurs during the holiday periods will be expanded.

The new health center will have more than 1.500 square meters, distributed among 13 Primary Care medical and nursing consultations, an area for extractions, another for government - offices for coordinators, meeting rooms and archives - and an area for general services. and facilities.

It will also have a large space of more than 200 square meters exclusively for the Emergency Service. The area will be equipped with consultations and triage, boxes for adults and children, a waiting room, a treatment room, and rest areas and changing rooms for health personnel.

"With this new impulse, adds Dr. Palau, the Ribera Health Group advances in the commitment announced last summer to build a new health center in the basic area of Dénia, with a protected population of close to 39.000 people and which has already with two integrated health centers and an acute care hospital”.

» It is a real shame that today, April 2023, going to the emergency room at the MARINA SALUD Denia hospital for an X-ray and a bandage, a 10-year-old boy has had it from 19:35 p.m. to 1:25 p.m. am ???

I have been checking the waiting times and it turns out that on the website itself
https://www.marinasalud.es/portfolio_page/urgencias/ They already have a pre-established time that they are going to make you wait:
Red: Vital urgency. Waiting time: 0 minutes
Orange: Very urgent. Waiting time: 10 minutes
Yellow: Urgent: Waiting time: 60 minutes
Green: Little Urgent: Waiting time: 120 minutes
Blue : Not Urgent: Waiting time: 240 minutes
And they are always complaining. If there was an audit or they had a boss, as in all the jobs in the world, who could observe how they work, more than half would go to the streets.
You only have to pay close attention to realize that half of the people there are lazy and the other half comedians who spend the day telling their lives and using their cell phones. You have more free stops than those who work for the drug traffickers who come by boat while they wait for them on the beach. But they want more salary and triple the number of colleagues. So that your jokes reach more people. What a shame and disgust every time you have to go to the emergency room. It should be called a midnight hotel.
I am going to vote for the PP in the next elections only so that they further reduce the workforce and lower their salaries. What desperation!!!!!!!!! »

I hope these emergencies don't work the same as the MARINA SALUD hospital on the outskirts of Denia.

  3. Helmet says:

..very good, but where can you park your car nearby?

  4. Martina says:

All emergencies in the new center??? Well, we're going bad
I think that the emergencies should work in the 3 health centers so that people can access the one closest to home that catches them.
During vacation times, it will collapse.
I hope they have taken into account the necessary personnel for the proper functioning of the center

I give you the reason, I hope that the publication is a "summary" and they have everything tied up and well tied up and above all well planned. We talk about Health, the most important thing and I am not only thinking of Dénia, that there are many towns that have to come here
