Quique Dacosta will open a restaurant in London dedicated to rice in paella

Chef Quique Dacosta has announced one of the most ambitious projects of his career: a restaurant in London dedicated exclusively to rice in paella. As Dacosta himself progressed this Tuesday, during the Mediterranean Europe Forum breakfast that was held in Valencia, he hopes to be able to materialize it later this year.

Dacosta explained that he has been preparing this restaurant for two years, which will be located between the Oxford and Mayfair areas of the English capital. It will have capacity for 120 diners and will have a hundred employees. The three-Michelin-star chef undertakes this project together with two partners, with the aim that the benefits allow them to continue opening restaurants around the world.

Durante el desarrollo del desayuno informativo, Dacosta habló de su carrera y de su apuesta por la Comunitat Valenciana, y Dénia, como destino gastronómico. Y es que al chef no se le pasa por la cabeza abandonar esta tierra. Su apuesta sigue por reivindicar Dénia como ciudad creativa de la gastronomía y poder construir «un discurso de territorio».
