Podemos Dénia chooses María Rosa Medel as the new Liaison of Feminism

The Círculo de Podemos Dénia has elected the women's rights activist Rosa Medel as the party's Feminist Link in the capital of the region.

Medel was trained as a primary teacher and graduated in Geography and History from the Autonomous University of Madrid. In addition to the educational field, he has developed a broad activity in the political and business fields. Rosa Medel is an active collaborator of Feminists of the Marina Alta District, and also a member of MATRIA, an association whose work includes battered women.

The priorities for Medel are clear: "There is a lot of work to do at all levels. In the premises, it is essential that the shelter that existed in Dénia be reopened and promote the Centro Mujer and the Consell de la Dona to achieve greater awareness among citizens".
