The Circle of We can Denia has chosen the activist for women's rights Rosa Medel as Feminism Link of the party in the capital of the region.
Medel trained as a primary teacher and graduated in Geography and History from the Autonomous University of Madrid. In addition to her in the educational field, she has developed extensive activity in the political and business fields. Rosa Medel is an active collaborator of Feministas de la Comarca de la Marina Alta, and also a member of MATRIA, an association whose goals include working with battered women.
The priorities for Medel are clear: "There is a lot of work to do at all levels. In the premises, it is essential that the shelter that existed in Dénia be reopened and promote the Centro Mujer and the Consell de la Dona to achieve greater awareness among citizens".
