Pepa Mata and the strength of her «Marine Fragments»

It opened in the hall of Pintor Llorens Municipal House of Culture Mata Pepa exposure with great expectations of the public, who packed the room, after waiting impatiently the lights were lit, and that made it impossible to appreciate the works calmly, as required all artistic creation.

Like many artists, self-taught, but with a unique creativity that gives not pass through the classrooms. An explosion of color, with a mixed technique on wood, which brings out the feelings that generated it, the sea, the marine world, living beings, resulting in a unique and different paintings. Very own that show that throughout his inquiry into materials and forms, use of the reliefs, colors and brightness, very consistent to the theme of the exhibition.

For me personally I especially came a variety of paintings whose motive are the eyes of the fish and hope to see them in the presence of Pepa and I will communicate what kind of fish are and feelings, which both generates us every work, because Pepa will usually be at the show to chat with all visitors.

It is his first solo exhibition, celebrating its silver anniversary as a painter (86 began in his challenge to the canvas) and after a path participating in group exhibitions in El Vergel, Els Poblets, Dénia ... ..and the other side, as a neighbor of Denia wants to collaborate with the foundation Ludai and he has put on sale at the same exposure, painted stones, also with a great creative force.
